In this website, I have tried to pass on my experience of teaching and examining A level Maths and Further Maths. In my view, many students rush from topic to topic and miss the 'big picture' of why maths is so important, and the fascinating story of its history. Also, setting and marking exams has given me an insight into where students often go wrong in exams.
I would like to convey through the site some of the excitement of studying the subject. The site is not a replacement for good teaching in the subject, or indeed a comprehensive textbook on the subject. I hope it will help to enhance your interest, deepen your understanding, and improve your exam performance.
Together with sections on each topic, there is also a blog exploring issues of general interest about advanced maths.
